Backyard Wildlife

We had the most beautiful wildlife around this Spring.  These were the darling little geeselings that hung out for us to observe.  Unfortunately after a while Oliver got curious and and wanted to take a closer look.  They hissed and told him quite frankly to back off.  Oliver thought this was pretty entertaining and so then George wanted to try it when he heard the story.  They were a little harder to spot after that but Janie was well aware when they were around.  She LOVED it when they were in view.  In the early Spring they pooped everywhere on our deck, so they weren't quite as welcomed as when they later brought their little ones for us to see.    

Spring has arrived!

We have had the most beautiful weather this week. It has been so fun for us. We have been on family bike rides, dinner outside every night (either at parks are in our backyard), a great night at the skatepark, a really fun basketball game tonight, not too mention the days outside in the neighborhood with scooters and bikes and friends celebrating the gorgeous sun. Everyone has come out of their houses and the neighborhood is a party!  It has been a wonderful week and so good for all our spirits! I feel so much peace and contentment in our little family.  And whenever I get concerned about where we are going to live long term and figuring out what our future holds, I just find so much comfort that the relationships we have with each other are constant.  And we are just so happy all together.  I am very grateful for the amazing kiddos I have and such a supportive, loving husband. Hooray for a lovely week!
